Aloha everyone!!
The Chiefs "Aloha" Auction is less than 4 weeks away , Friday, March 30th . It is a time for all of us to reunite!! It will be a fun party atmosphere for us to join together with our kids to create a successful auction!
We need everyone's help with donations and with attendance at the auction!! Please put your feelers out to your friends and community for donations. All of the volunteers have had such incredible ideas so far and we are so grateful!
Here are some items that have already been donated:
- The Benders are donating team parties at their house again, as well as their cigar and scotch basket.
- The Mardi Gras party (that brought in a HUGE return, not to mention the fun everyone had! )
- My husband Mark Whitlock and I are donating a case of excellent wine that our group makes that can be personalized with a label of your choice. You just send us a picture or graphic and we will make the labels for you!!
- The Tempels are again donating their cabana club pool party! It is a great venue and they are great hosts!
- A custom BMX type bike!!
- Nothing Bundt Cakes is donating to our auction
- Each Chiefs team is donating a theme basket.
- Capitola Village Condo
- The Ikeda family is donating a fun dinner party!!
- Full Bloom donated a Surfboard.
- An autographed Sharks puck!
Here are a few other ideas for you to consider:
Do you know someone who ... or do you have ...
- Has a time share and not using it? Maybe they would be willing to donate it? Hawaii? Napa? Las Vegas? Mexico?
- A limo driver who may donate a day to drive some couples around wine tasting? Here or Napa. Maybe there is some connection with hotels in Napa and we could put together a package to auction.
- Gift cards you got for Christmas and haven't used? We could use them for the balloon poppers or to combine in baskets for silent auction items.
- A "pie of the month". Maybe we have a person who does beautiful floral arrangements and could do one each month, or bi-monthly.
- Parties are always welcome! Host one at your home by yourself or with friends.
Please contact me with your idea/donation . We need them in by March 20th!! I will email you a solicitation letter and donor tax receipt. We will put their business card in the program to support their business. Please help!!
